Catering + Events

Established in 1988, Cyd’s Gourmet Kitchen began as a catering company in the heart of the Midwest, in Peoria Heights, Illinois.  For years, Cyd’s events have earned a solid reputation as exceptional culinary experiences with courteous, professional service, and inspired creativity. From intimate backyard weddings to a catered photo shoot for one of Hollywood’s brightest stars, we take pride in designing memorable celebrations + events which exceed our client’s expectations.

We offer four levels of service: full service on + off-site catering, delivery & set-up, delivery only, or market pick-up.

Pick Up’s + Deliveries

For all pick up’s + deliveries food is packaged in disposable containers unless other wise specified at the time of ordering. Reusable disposable serving trays and serving tray rentals are available for an additional cost.

Delivery and set up charges are based size of order and distance of delivery. All local catering deliveries start at $25 and delivery + set up start at $75.

Serviced Events

Complimentary catering communication includes: a 30-minute consolation at Cyd’s or via phone, one estimate + menu with two complimentary rewrites. Any changes beyond that may be subject to an additional charge. 5% planning services fee on all events greater than 20 people.  In home consultations are available and start at $50.00 per visit.

Payment for events and service is due at the conclusion of the event or at the time of pick-up unless previously arranged.   We accept cash, check, or any major credit card. There is a 3% processing fee all credit cards not present at the time of payment.

Serviced events include staff charged separately, by the hour.  Supervisor, bartender + chef rates are $50.00-100.00 per hour. Service staff rates are $35.00 per hour per server with a minimum of 3 hours. Service staff is paid port to port. Food, beverage, tax, gratuity, additional rentals + services are in addition to staffing, 20% service fee. There is a $500 food and beverage minimum on all private events.  Gratuity is not included. Final cost is based upon actual hours worked and is rounded to the nearest quarter-hour.

A non-refundable deposit is required on all private events to hold date + space.  Deposit is deducted from final bill if event occurs on original booked date + time.
